Step 1 – Local Server Information
๐ถ Open the QuickBooks >>> Press F2 to open the Product info
๐ถ When “local server information ” comes on the screen, then check and make sure hosting is for the “Local Files”
Step 2 – View Hidden Files and Folders in Windows
๐ถ Press Windows Start button >>> select menu option
๐ถ Now in the open field type “services.msc”
๐ถ The next step is to do right click >>> choose the start option and close the window
๐ถ Now the system will show you all the extension for the known files types
๐ถ Now right click on the start button and select explore the option
๐ถ Choose the tool menu and folder
๐ถ Go to View tab and clear the hidden extension
๐ถ Click on the View tab and select to show hidden files
๐ถ Now close the window explorer
Step 3 – Run QuickBooks Database Server Manager
๐ถ In the QuickBooks search the .ND files
๐ถ Once found, do the right-click and select the Delete option
๐ถ Click on the Start button
๐ถ Go and select all programs options >> QuickBooks >> QuickBooks Database server manager
๐ถ Scan it by clicking the scan option
๐ถ To add folder click on add folder button, then browse the company folder
๐ถ Choose the company file and click on OK
๐ถ Now click on scan and once it is done you can close the tab
Step 4 – Stop Hosting Multi-user Access
๐ถ Login QuickBooks as administrator
๐ถ Go and select File menu>>Utilities>>Stop Hosting multi-user access
๐ถ Click yes and doing this will close the company file and open again
๐ถ Press F2 for information
