Step 1 – Local Server Information

🔶 Open the QuickBooks >>> Press F2 to open the Product info
🔶 When “local server information ” comes on the screen, then check and make sure hosting is for the “Local Files”

Step 2View Hidden Files and Folders in Windows

🔶 Press Windows Start button >>> select menu option
🔶 Now in the open field type “services.msc”
🔶 The next step is to do right click >>> choose the start option and close the window
🔶 Now the system will show you all the extension for the known files types
🔶 Now right click on the start button and select explore the option
🔶 Choose the tool menu and folder
🔶 Go to View tab and clear the hidden extension
🔶 Click on the View tab and select to show hidden files
🔶 Now close the window explorer

Step 3 – Run QuickBooks Database Server Manager

🔶 In the QuickBooks search the .ND files
🔶 Once found, do the right-click and select the Delete option
🔶 Click on the Start button
🔶 Go and select all programs options >> QuickBooks >> QuickBooks Database server manager
🔶 Scan it by clicking the scan option
🔶 To add folder click on add folder button, then browse the company folder
🔶 Choose the company file and click on OK
🔶 Now click on scan and once it is done you can close the tab

Step 4 – Stop Hosting Multi-user Access

🔶 Login QuickBooks as administrator
🔶 Go and select File menu>>Utilities>>Stop Hosting multi-user access
🔶 Click yes and doing this will close the company file and open again
🔶 Press F2 for information
